Introduction
Manpower Department
Training Institute (ILJTM)
was established to
provide and
implement
skilled workers to meet the
country's industrial
sector.
ILJTM consists of;
23 Industrial
Training Institutes
(ILP)
6 Advance Technology
Training Centres
(ADTEC)
Centre for
Instructor and
Advanced Skills
(CIAST)
Japan-Malaysia
Technical Institute
(JMTI)
The main objective
is to produce
optimum manpower
through industrial
skills training
programs.
Intakes for ILJTMs
are two (2) times
a year, once in
January and July
each year.
Advertisements will
be released in March
and September.
Applications are to
be made through the
Online Application
System at JTM
website (http://www.jtm.gov.my)
for the entry of the
session in January
and the UPU website,
(http://upu.mohe.gov.my)
for admission in
July session. For
applications via the
UPU website,
applicants are
required to purchase
a unique ID number
from Bank Simpanan
Nasional for RM
10.60.
JTM offers a variety
of facilities at all
of its institutes,
such as
accommodation, food,
lecture halls,
laboratories,
workshops, training,
sports and
recreation
facilities, canteen,
computer lab,
library and so on.
Fees:
Diploma & Advanced
Diploma: RM3000.00 a
year. (Skills
Development Fund
Loan (PTPK) can be
applied for those
who qualify)
Certificate &
Advanced
Certificate: Free,
except for sponsored
students.
Other charges on the
day of registration
(RM400-RM500 subject
to the institute).
